Overview
Dynamic Yield by Mastercard is seeking a proactive and strategic Engineering Tech Ops leader to steer the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of tools and technologies that enhance engineering productivity and collaboration. While primarily supporting the Engineering organization, this role also supports the broader Dynamic Yield organization. The role reports to the VP of Engineering Operations.
Role
● Manage, analyze and implement Engineering tools and technologies that enhance productivity and collaboration
○ Collaborate with Engineering teams to evaluate and define Engineering workflows and required tools
○ Participate in Mastercard-led AI pilots and lead Engineering-wide rollouts of successful solutions
○ Conduct gap analyses to assess and recommend optimal technology solutions
○ Educate Engineering teams on Mastercard's approved technologies and best practices
● Lead strategic cross-Engineering initiatives
○ Oversee key DY-Mastercard technology integration projects
○ Define and manage knowledge-sharing frameworks (e.g. SharePoint groups, distribution Lists, Slack channels)
○ Drive cost management analysis and tools for product development
○ Support Engineering and Operations strategy through special projects and ad-hoc initiatives
● Drive continuous improvement in Engineering practices and procedures
○ Ensure compliance with Mastercard's relevant standards, policies and best practices
■ Support the technology approval process for current and future tools
■ Identify and support non-engineering tools that are not approved by Mastercard
○ Build strong partnerships with Mastercard tech and risks teams to support Engineering needs
All About You
● Passionate about technology with a strategic mindset and a hands-on, problem-solving approach
● Proven track record of leading impactful technology initiatives within Engineering organizations
● Deep understanding of Engineering workflows, DevOps practices, and lifecycle management
● Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD practices
● A collaborative team player with strong communication and influencing skills across functions and leadership levels
● Innovative, analytical, and results-driven, with a continuous improvement focus
● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
● Fluent in English, both written and spoken
● Experience in a similar role is a strong advantage
