Overview

The Employee Digital Experience team is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to advance our customer experience strategy through innovation and problem-solving. The Employee Digital Experience team supports Workspace Tools Technologies used by employees, including Microsoft 365 technologies, CITRIX, Desktop, Voice, Mobile, Multimedia, and various other tools. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial proactive mindset. We are looking for an agile and resilient Technical Program Manager to lead complex projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for driving internal or cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless project execution, and delivering results under changing circumstances. As a Technical Program Manager Analyst II at Mastercard, you are expected to perform the following general responsibilities:

- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Workspace Tools Technologies. Manage your team's progress with minimal guidance, handle dependencies, resolve issues, and ensure successful engineering task completion.

- Collaborate with the Workspace Tools Technologies teams using Agile/Scrum to manage ceremonies and coordinate with service lines such as Network, Cloud, and Infrastructure Design Engineering. This method facilitates iterative delivery and alignment with roadmaps, OKRs/KPIs, and dependent teams.

- Work in partnership with engineering managers to secure necessary resources, define project scope, set priorities, and establish milestones. Optimize work sequencing and streamline processes to enhance the efficiency of engineering execution.

- The ideal candidate should be a proficient, confident, and precise in both written and verbal communication, capable of effectively communicating their vision and roadmap to a wide range of stakeholders, including leaders and engineers. This also entails the ability to explain technical issues succinctly and clearly.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships is crucial for this role. The candidate must be able to work closely with various IT departments to ensure successful project delivery. They should also be skilled at identifying areas where resources fall short of needs and providing thoughtful and sustainable solutions to benefit the team.

- Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions. Create visualizations and reports (DOMO & Power BI) that effectively communicate data insights and drive project progress. This includes the ability to present data in a clear and compelling manner to support decision-making and strategic planning.

All About You

- Experience defining scalable technical products with a basic understanding of platform capabilities and technologies. Knowledge of Workspace Tools Technologies is ideal but not required.

- Must be able to work independently in identifying problems/risks and developing and mapping out solutions to mitigate.

- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint · Experience with Tableau, Domo, Power BI or other comparable business intelligence tools a plus, but not required.

- Have Project Management experience leading complex initiatives in a structured manner, 3 years of experience ideal.

- Knowledge of Project Management tools, like Rally, Jira, AHA.

- Ability to communicate effectively in English, supporting engineering teams globally.
