As Global Vice President of Account Level Management Product Development, you will be responsible for setting and managing the global development strategy for Account Level Management and manage a team responsible for the assessment, definition and deployment of services creating segmentation tools and strategies for our issuers, processors and merchants, removing friction and ultimately driving brand preference, increased spend and loyalty. Account Level Management is a global platform that enables several portfolio segmentation services across credit & debit for consumer, small business & large market, with a footprint in 95+ countries and growing.

Opportunity:

As Vice President of the Account Level Management (ALM) Product Development Team, you will lead this high-performing Global Product Development Team and play a pivotal role in Mastercard's ambition to grow our revenue by 150% in 5 years. You and your team will identify new opportunities, define business requirements, on-board new customers, partner with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deliver new products or capabilities that drive incremental revenues for Mastercard, supporting our Consumer, SME & Commercial product strategies.

Role, you will:

• Partner closely with the Global VP of Account Level Management, supporting our global strategy and ensuring alignment across global & regional leadership.
• Lead all product development efforts related to ALM which have global visibility and are shaping the future of portfolio management for our issuers driving impact, scale, and creating compelling brand preference.
• Actively manage talent on your team by continuously assessing talent needs against current capabilities, addressing any gaps with a combination of pro-active learning, talent moves and timely feedback.
• Continually raise the bar with talent across your team with a combination of hiring top new talent and actively growing existing talent.
• Ensure the Product Development Team has a full understanding of vision for the platform which powers multiple strategic services across credit & debit, for Consumer, SME and Commercial globally.
• Maintain a pulse on competitive and technology landscapes, with added insight on the full transactional eco-system to identify technical efficiencies both internal & external.
• Define, evaluates and prioritizes Global and/or Regional product ideas, markets and opportunities and determines which projects to initiate into the development process, deploying 15+ markets YoY, and on-boarding customers in every region.
• Provides strategic advisory to the ALM Leadership Team providing expert guidance and insights to help the team make informed decisions, align with long-term goals, and enhance overall business performance of ALM.
• Embodies a design thinking methodology or problem-solving approach that emphasizes user-centricity, creativity, and iterative processes to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges – focusing on the user/customer experience.
• Identify and recommend new payments products or services that can leverage the ALM rails in partnership with internal and external stakeholders at a global and regional level.
• Partner with ALM Engineering to ensure appropriate testing on new services and regression testing on existing services as standard practice for ALM development & deployment.
• Partners with ALM Engineering to maintain a best-in-class technical environment supporting our existing book of business while driving new use cases, growing our footprint & revenue.
• Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders in ALM Product Management, Legal, Data Privacy, Customer Delivery, Product Integration, Finance, Regional Sales, etc. to ensure that any new product requests have a robust go-to-market plan focused on speed to market and ease of delivery.
• Partners with ALM Product Management Team to Commercialize new products, providing a seamless handover supported by a robust 12-month roadmap including CX, revenue projections, and product quality enhancements.
• Navigate across cultures and geographies leveraging strong relationships with key groups across Mastercard to gain support and buy-in for key decisions related to ALM development engagements.
• Emulate and drive Mastercard Way behaviors through their behavior, recognition, coaching, and employee engagement.

About You
• Deep expertise in payment industry and Mastercard transaction flow.
• Strong understanding of issuing & acquiring systems & operations.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, complemented by the skills to engage across various levels of leadership and across engineering, account teams, regional & global product teams, and operational teams to deliver results end-to-end.
• Track record of designing and executing error-free customer experiences & products from idea to action.
• Experience incubating and shaping solutions from insights into successful products or initiatives.
• Strong credit & debit acumen, experience in consumer, small business and commercial projects.
• Able to develop compelling business cases and align with global stakeholders.
• Inspirational leadership skills and the ability to build and empower high-performing teams in an agile environment. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.

O'Fallon, Missouri: $194,000 - $310,000 USD Purchase, New York: $223,000 - $357,000 USD
