Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

We are expanding our focus on the Small and Medium Business (SMB) and Government segments and seeking a forward-thinking Product Strategist to define and drive our cyber product strategy for these markets.

Role Overview:
As a Product Strategist for Cyber Products (SMB & Government Segments), you will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction, roadmap, and go-to-market approach for cybersecurity products tailored for SMBs and government entities. You will leverage market insights, customer needs, and competitive analysis to develop solutions that address the unique security challenges faced by these segments. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, product management expertise, and a deep understanding of the SMB and government cybersecurity landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
• Define and execute the SMB and government cybersecurity product strategy, aligning with business goals and market demands.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and gaps in cybersecurity solutions for SMBs and government entities.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive SMB and government segment strategy, ensuring scalability, affordability, and effectiveness of security offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, and marketing, to drive product development and market adoption.
• Define key success metrics and monitor performance, adjusting strategy based on customer feedback and market trends.
• Develop business cases and value propositions to support new product initiatives and enhancements.
• Work closely with channel partners and distribution networks to optimize product reach and adoption in the SMB and government markets.
• Stay ahead of cybersecurity trends, regulatory changes, and emerging threats that impact SMBs and government entities.
• Serve as a thought leader, providing insights on SMB and government security needs and advocating for innovative solutions.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in product strategy, product management, or related roles in cybersecurity or technology.
• Demonstrable experience in executing successful product/service launches in the SMB segment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity challenges faced by SMBs and government entities, including compliance, risk management, and threat landscapes.
• Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive growth and market penetration.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with SaaS-based security solutions and/or managed security services is a plus.
• Familiarity with SMB and government buying behaviors, sales channels, and customer support models.
