About the role:
Type: Full Time Salaried
Compensation: $245,000 (Target Salary)
Location: Fully Remote, must be in the United States
Hours: Full Time Days

What to Expect:
The Chief of Staff (CoS) serves as a strategic advisor, trusted partner, and operational extension of the CEO and Executive Committee, playing a vital role in ensuring clarity and alignment, and accelerating execution across the organization. This role operates at the center of leadership operations—driving cross-functional initiatives, optimizing executive workflows, and ensuring the Company effectively advances its strategic priorities.
In a fast-paced, mission-driven healthcare technology environment, the CoS acts as both strategist and integrator—counseling senior leaders, managing high-impact projects, leading executive communications, and stewarding Board engagement. You will partner closely with Product, Clinical, Operations, Finance, and People teams to scale culture, systems, and decision-making at pace with Company growth.
Responsibilities:
Executive Operations & Leadership Coordination
- Lead and facilitate the operating cadence of executive leadership (e.g., executive team meetings, strategy offsites, leadership reviews).
- Define and implement SOPs that drive prioritization, execution, and alignment on CEO- and enterprise-level initiatives.
- Manage the CEO's strategic priorities, synthesizing key decisions and translating them into clear actions.
- Act as a trusted proxy for the CEO in meetings and communications when appropriate.
Board Meeting Ownership
- Collaborate with the CEO and Executive Committee to craft Board meeting themes, strategic narrative, and agendas.
- Lead creative planning, storyboarding, and development of Board decks, ensuring clear, compelling, and aligned messaging.
- Synthesize strategic, financial, and operational content into board-ready materials; drive consistency and quality across presentations.
- Coach executive presenters and manage the full timeline of Board material development, review, and delivery.
Strategic Planning & Project Leadership
- Operationalize the Company's most important strategic initiatives—often cross-functional and time-sensitive in nature, and at times confidential.
- Lead or support initiatives such as product launches, operational improvements, partnership evaluations, and change management.
- Draft strategic memos, business cases, investor communications, and CEO updates.
Organizational Development & Internal Alignment
- Collaborate with People & HR to identify organizational gaps, scale systems, and support hiring and cultural initiatives.
- Foster cross-functional alignment and resolve organizational friction through relationship building and structural clarity.
- Partner with Strategic Communications and executive leadership to deliver clear, authentic communications across the company.
Stakeholder & Decision Support
- Provide research, insight, and analysis to inform executive decisions; proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Cultivate internal and external relationships critical to advancing strategic goals, including vendors, partners, and investors.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
Qualifications & Experience
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in management consulting, strategy, operations, healthcare tech, or high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated success managing high-impact initiatives, communications, or organizational change at the executive level.
- Strong background in healthcare, including understanding of payer/provider systems, EHRs, digital health, or compliance landscapes.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MPH, MHA, or related advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience crafting Board- or investor-level presentations.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and comfort with managing sensitive, confidential topics.
Competencies & Skills:
- Strong ability to execute work with a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens.
- Significant executive support experience, including supporting C-level executives.
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.

- High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board members, senior executives, and staff
