Job Summary:
Supports the MMP sales force by efficiently and accurately onboarding new agents/producers through comprehensive contracting and workflow management across all MMP entities. Maintains and assists with ongoing licensing requirements to ensure compliance and operational continuity. Manages, updates, and changes for existing producers to support agent experience and business growth. Serves as the central source of truth for all agent records across platforms, ensuring data accuracy from background information to hierarchy levels.
Responsibilities:
Onboards new agents and producers in compliance with company and insurance regulations for all MMP entities, and initiates MMO contracting. Provides support in inputting data into workflow programs, verifies licenses and background checks, assists with the establishment of commission structures within internal systems, and provides technical support for credentials.
Maintains agent/producer licenses in compliance with company and insurance regulations.
Processes high-volume license and contracting change requests from internal and external agents. Assists with questions related to licensing, contracting, procedures, and compliance guidelines.
Documents and maintains accurate internal records based on established departmental guidelines.
Responds to all incoming inquiries and follows up in a prompt, professional manner.
Escalates risks beyond designated authority level to a supervisor.
Develops and maintains proficiency in licensing techniques, terminology, and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in business administration, communications, or related field is preferred.
Equivalent education and experience directly related to the role may substitute for a degree.
3 years of experience in sales support and/or onboarding/licensing support in Health Insurance.
Professional Certification(s):
N/A
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills.
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
Knowledge of state insurance requirement and/or licensing a plus.
Adept with technology.
Ability to make sound decisions.
