General Summary of Position
Facilitates the inpatient admission of appropriate rehabilitation patients to MedStar National Rehabilitation Network (MNRN) by obtaining accurate clinical data through performing on-site and record/ telephonic patient evaluations. Individuals in this role are responsible for educating the referring staff of community hospitalspatients family members and external payers regarding the effective and efficient utilization of MNRN program services and resources.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required and
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or another health or science field of study preferred
- 1-2 years of LPN experience required
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current LPN license issued by the state required at the time of hire. required and
- Must have access to reliabletransportation. required
- The incumbent in this role must have thorough understanding of the process of rehabilitation expert physical assessment and patient/family education skills the ability to be sensitive to confidential information and a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients family members staff and external parties.
- The incumbent in this role must be able to operate basic office equipment including but not limited to: phone laptop tablets fax and copying machines.
This position has a hiring range of
USD $29.73 - USD $53.49 /Hr.
