General Summary of Position
Supervises and directs subordinate personnel including but not limited to technologists PSA's and administrative support personnel. Coordinates/oversees workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity and minimize any delays to the patient. Works with the Manager CT/MRI in establishing objectives and standards for the provision of patient care. Demonstrates proper techniques and procedures to staff. Evaluates quality of images in maintaining quality assurance.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Education
- Associate's degree required
- Formal training in radiologic technology required and
- 3-4 years Progressively more responsible job related experience. required
- AART registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required within one year of date of hire. within 1 Year required
- PROBLEM SOLVING: Job requires a relatively high level of problem-solving to find solutions to difficult human technical clinical or administrative problems.
- INTERNAL CONTACTS: Internal contacts necessary to effectively advise consult or counsel others to gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas or actions.
- INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT: Work is occasionally performed according to existing procedures and instructions but often requires analysis of problems and development of solutions. This involves determining appropriate methods and task sequences.
- PATIENT CARE: Assists with patient care by establishing and/or monitoring the techniques policies and procedures used by those who deliver care.
- RESPONSIBILITY FOR WORK OF OTHERS: Primarily responsible for planning assigning and following up on the work of other employees. Responsible for appraising the performance of employees hiring/firing them etc.
This position has a hiring range of
USD $89,065.00 - USD $162,801.00 /Yr.
