We are looking for an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of highly skilled Advanced Practice Providers in the PACU. We offer a supportive team environment with hands-on training from our surgeons, residents, and fellow APP's. The provider in this role will be working in post-op care in the inpatient setting.

The PACU Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers perioperative and immediate postoperative care, focusing on the assessment, monitoring, and management of patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery. The APP evaluates and treats urgent clinical issues, orders and interprets diagnostic studies, and performs admission history and physicals as needed. This role collaborates closely with anesthesia, surgical, and admitting teams to ensure patient stability and appropriate level of care, while facilitating safe and efficient transitions from the PACU. Responsibilities also include rounding and ongoing reassessment to support continuity of care.

This is a full-time position and will consist of (4) ten hour shifts. No weekends, holidays, or nights; there is no “call”  associated with this role. 

You must be an ACNP or PA to be considered for the role. We cannot accept FNPs.

Minimum Qualifications:

·       Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

·       Minimum of 1–2 years of APP experience required

·       ICU/PACU experience preferred

·       Comfortable practicing independently in an outpatient setting

·       Strong communication, clinical judgment, and team collaboration skills
