MedStar Medical Group Anesthesiology, one of the largest anesthesia groups in the DMV/Mid-Atlantic region, is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist to be based at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, which has a sister hospital next door (MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital) as part of the full-time practice-anesthesia team has one-beeper for both hospitals. 

This opportunity includes an active orthopedic surgery program, where the incoming physician would be managing as an anesthesiologist in the ORs and building relationships with the surgeons and other medical staff members. Practice includes a combination of both medical direction and performing solo cases.  Cases are primarily musculoskeletal (spine, joint, hand and wrist, foot and ankle, sports medicine, ortho trauma) but also includes EP, vascular, cath lab, and GI. Primary call is from home – no L&D department at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. Regional experience is highly preferred.
