This site has a high-functioning interdisciplinary team. We also have a health system-wide forum for our palliative care chaplains to collaborate and connect across sites to support community and career development.

About our Palliative Care Teams:
Our team consists of nearly 100 clinicians that work in interdisciplinary teams across 9 acute care hospitals, robust community-based program, and advance care planning program.
Our interdisciplinary teams are comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, RNs, social workers, clinical pharmacists, chaplains, and administrative roles.

*Discipline-specific workgroups for system-wide connection and mentorship as well as representation with system leadership
*Interdisciplinary leadership team
*Weekly free CEU event for learning and connections
A master's degree in divinity, Theology or completion of seminary training is required; however, a combination of education and related experience may also be considered.
Clinical Pastoral Education 4 Units of Clinical Pastoral Education from an ACPE accredited center strongly preferred.
Approximately one to two years of progressively more responsible job-related experience; more direct patient care experience is preferred.
Additional Experience Palliative focus in CPE training OR 1-year direct practice in palliative care OR hospice strongly preferred.
Board Certification from National Board Certifications Organizations (i.e. APC, NAJC, NACC) Within 2 years of hire will be an expectation
