General Summary of Position
The Contract Management Analyst role is responsible for analyzing, documenting and reporting findings of claim processing and pricing issues resulting in payment variances. In addition, this role is responsible for the validation of claims reprocessing projects to ensure contract terms were followed and appropriate reimbursement received.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree preferred
- One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience
- 3-4 years Managed Care or healthcare related organizations experience required and 1-2 years contract-based reimbursement experience preferred
- One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Detailed working knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in at least one specific payer's reimbursement and appeals process.
- Requires basic working knowledge of UB04 and Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
- Requires some knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/ICD-10 coding.
- Proficient uses of hospital registration and/or billing systems and personal computers as well as Microsoft Excel and Word applications. Ability to type 35 WPM.
- Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
This position has a hiring range of $23.19 - $40.61
