General Summary of Position
This associate works directly with the Hospital Executive Team to include the president, chief nursing officer, chief medical officer, or chief operating officer, and others. Designs, develops, and oversees a comprehensive strategic communications program for internal audiences (associates, nurses, medical staff, and patients, depending on assignment) which support the organization's vision, mission, values, and the operating and strategic plan/plan on a page. Provides counsel to the Hospital Executive Team on issues related to internal communications and serves as consultant to the Hospital Executive Team, Senior Leadership, and other areas/departments of the Hospital.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree In Communications, Corporate Communications, Journalism, or other related field required
- Master's degree In Communications, Corporate Communications, Journalism, or other related field preferred
Experience
- 8-10 years of progressively more responsible job related experience in strategic communications planning, publications management, event planning, employee recognition. required
- Prior experience working directly with senior executive staff providing internal communications counsel required
- 3-4 years performing the referenced responsibilities in a hospital/health care environment preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Accreditation in Public Relations - APR preferred
This position has a hiring range of $98,652 - $175,190
