General Summary of Position
The Director, Medical Staff Communications and Engagement, will be a key contributor to the success of initiatives in both the Communications and Public Affairs and Medical Affairs departments. This position will have responsibility for strategic oversight and tactical development of medical staff communications and engagement plans. The Director, Medical Staff Communications and Engagement, will report to the Assistant Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs, and will also work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, and the President, Medical & Dental Staff. The Director will maintain a high level of collaboration with medical staff administrative leadership and clinicians who lead specialty service lines.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Bachelor's degree required
• Master's degree ideally in communications, journalism, or similar preferred

Experience

• 10+ years Has provided counsel and guidance to executive leadership, preferably in the health care field. required
• Experience managing a multi-page publication, succinctly summarizing meetings for distribution to medical staff. required

This position has a hiring range of $93,142 - $175,968
