General Summary of Position
Responsible for leading business development within the CRT Group by in securing commercial support through educational grants, promotional support and exhibits for educational conferences. Maximizes sponsorship value and revenue potential with expertise in trade show management, marketing, and revenue streams. Serves as Industry Project Manager and onsite staff for continuing medical education conferences.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Increase market share & visibility of CRT Group brand by providing business development expertise by managing and optimizing revenue for the CRT brand.
  • Maximize the revenue streams for CRT brand suite including: CRTonline; CRM Journal; CardioTube; CRT Meeting (including but not limited to Cardiovascular Research Technologies, Mastering Cardiac and Vascular Complications and Controversies in Cardiac Arrythmias), and CRTvirtual (including but not limited to CRTvirtual Spring Course, CRTvirtual Fellows Boot Camp and CRTvirtual Masters Course).
  • Manages timely collection of all funding for educational meetings.
  • Works with CRT Course Chairman to solicit and secure commercial support and exhibits for conferences in accordance with the ACCME policies and standards of commercial support.
  • Works in concert with the Director of CRT Group and Manager of Meetings to assist in the development of best practices and tools for planning, implementation, and evaluation all CRT activities.
  • Serves as the Industry Lead and onsite staff for CRT Group conferences.
  • Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and hospital in community outreach efforts. Participates in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams.
  • Solicits and coordinates physician and sales training, working with representatives from medical device and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Interacts and coordinates with Industry during the CRT Meeting and CRTvirtual meetings.


  • Minimum Qualifications
    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, marketing, communications, education or a related field required

    Experience

    • 5-7 years experience in industry sales and educational grants, marketing and/or developing, promoting and implementing professional and continuing educational conferences and products required

    Licenses and Certifications

    • No special certification, registration or licensure required

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Verbal and written communication skills.
    • Basic computer skills.
