MedStar Medical Group II, LLC d/b/a MedStar Medical Group   MedStar Medical Group II, LLC d/b/a MedStar Medical Group has an opening for a Palliative Care Physician to join our team!   Job Duties: Provide clinical and professional medical services to Patients within the scope of the Physician's qualifications and consistent with accepted standards of medical practice and consistent with reasonable productivity standards. Direct general patient care provided at the site by performance of accepted procedures and commonly-used therapies, and provision of appropriate support services. Keep and maintain appropriate methods related to all professional services rendered by Physician and prepare and attend to all reports and correspondence necessary and appropriate in the circumstances. Maintain and improve professional skills, including attendance at professional, postgraduate seminars and participation in professional societies. Perform other reasonable clinical, administrative, and professional services as may from time to time be mutually agreed upon between Physician and Employer. Be solely responsible for the quality of medical care rendered by Physician to the patients and for assuring that such care meets or exceeds currently accepted standards of medical competence and is in accordance with currently approved methods of practice for Palliative Care Medicine. Participate in quality assurance and risk management programs as directed by Employer. Position requires travel to work at out-patient clinic settings and in-patient and out-patient hospital settings in Baltimore, MD on a regular basis.   Position requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or foreign degree equivalent. Position requires a three-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry or Internal Medicine residency program, a one-year specialized Psychiatric fellowship training program and a one-year Palliative Medicine fellowship program. Position requires a valid Maryland Medical License, Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Psychiatry, and Board Certification or Eligibility for American Board of Internal Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine.   Job is based at MedStar Harbor Hospital, 3001 S Hanover St, Baltimore, MD 21225.
