Unit Highlights
This position is for an experienced ICU RN specifically interested in working Full Time Night shift with rotating weekends.
We are a high tempo, high acuity 14-bed medical ICU that specializes in multi-organ/system failure or dysfunction. We take an interdisciplinary approach to patient care and consider teamwork to be our foremost attribute. 2G is consistently staffed with a team of medical residents and fellows which promotes an environment of collaboration and learning.
We take pride in developing strong nurses on our unit. The orientation period is 14-16 weeks with experienced preceptors and include 8 weeks of classes that incorporate AACN critical care education modules.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
