General Summary of Position
- Clinical Nurse position in a caring, unified team office environment where you will work with the office manager, pediatric providers, medical assistants, and floor triage nurse.
- Office hours are 8:30 am to 5pm- Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or nights.
- This position requires Pediatric, Outpatient/ Ambulatory, and Triage experience.
- Must possess soft skills to promote a great patient/parent experience while phone triaging/ typing 95% of the workday.
- Must be willing to assist with floor triage or work with providers when needed to ensure phenomenal patient care while being flexible and adaptable.
- This position requires the ability to administer injections, and other physician office duties.
- You Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the quality of care to patients during episodic and chronic visits. Assists physicians(s) in all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and provides education, counseling, and support to patients and their families.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED Valid RN license in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia required
Experience
- 1-2 years related nursing experience, preferably in an ambulatory health setting or related specialty involving substantial public contact required
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia, or any combination as required based on work location(s) required and
- RNC-OB C- Electronic Fetal Mon Perinatal nurses (labor and delivery, antepartum, antenatal testing) must obtain certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) from the National Certification Corporation (NCC) within 12 months from date of hire. New graduate nurses or new to specialty nurses (labor and delivery, antepartum, antenatal testing) will have 15 months from date of hire to obtain the EFM certification. required
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
This position has a hiring range of $34.98 - $62.52
