General Summary of Position
Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Infection Prevention programs at MFSMC, MUMH, MGSH and MHH to decrease risk of infection to patients and associates. Reporting to the MSH System Senior Director, Infection Prevention and collaborating closely with entity clinical leaders, coordinates with System IP, Safety and Quality leaders and integrates System HAI reduction initiatives into local Infection Prevention program.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, or other related Science Field required and
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 10+ years Minimum of 10 years of experience in infection prevention, inclusive of 5 years of management experience. required

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid RN license in the State of Maryland if applicant has a degree in NSG. Medical Technologist or Masters in Public Health are also acceptable. required and
• CIC (Certification in Infection Control) required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Investigative data collection and analysis skills.
• Ability to use computer to collect data and prepare reports.

This position has a hiring range of $139,276 - $278,262
