General Summary of Position
Provides support on the coordination and completion of financial and operating reporting and analysis for the Organization. This includes but is not limited to ad-hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger analysis. We recruit, retain, and advance associates with diverse backgrounds, skills, and talents equitably at all levels.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
  • Investigates and resolves problems using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system relating to Income Performance Analysis, Labor Distribution Report, Receipts Accrual Report, and Accounts Payable Distribution.
  • Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and Organization, as required.
  • Participates in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams.
  • Prepares analysis considering statistical components (hours worked, hours paid, patient days, visits per 1,000 etc.) to provide business advice, productivity improvement, performance analysis, and cost control suggestions to management.
  • Prepares and analyzes monthly operating variance reports, and cost and feasibility studies. Uses Excel, Access, and ERP system and other tools to produce as-needed reports. Prepares graphs in Excel or other tools.
  • Prepares financial figures for presentations and oversees the accurate and timely completion of the presentation.
  • Prepares the operating budget and long-range financial forecast for the assigned diversified entities. Works with the business unit management team in projecting revenue, salary, and operating expense budgets. Explains budget reports to managers. Prepares additional reports as required or requested by management.

    Minimum Qualifications
    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required

    Experience

    • 3-4 years Related experience in a healthcare setting required

    Licenses and Certifications

    • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Access, and PowerPoint software applications.
    • SQL knowledge preferred.
    • Verbal and written communication skills.


    This position has a hiring range of $70,428 - $131,310
