Description
Memorial Healthcare System is looking for an infectious disease physician for both inpatient and outpatient coverage in a transplant and immunocompromised host service. All candidates should be BE/BC in infectious disease with additional fellowship training in transplant. The candidate, in addition to expertise in adult solid organ and bone marrow transplant patients, will contribute to the care of mechanical circulatory support patients, spanning ECMO to temporary and durable VADs.
Memorial Healthcare System offers heart transplantation, deceased and living donor kidney transplantation at the Memorial Transplant Institute, as well as circulatory assist devices including ECMO (Memorial Cardiac & Vascular Institute) and bone marrow transplant at Moffitt Malignant Hematology & Cellular Therapy.
As part of a much broader hospital network, the infectious disease division provides care for general infectious disease, HIV care, and travel medicine to a large and complex patient population. The opportunity to be involved with Graduate Medical Education is offered in our Infectious Diseases Fellowship and multiple residency programs.
This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity
