OVERVIEW

Physician Assistant - Urology

Memorial Hermann Medical Group (MHMG) is seeking a Physician Assistant, with Urology Experience, to join our Urology clinic in southeast Houston. This board certified, Physician Assistant will provide, inpatient and outpatient support to our providers while also seeing new patients with low acuity Urologic issues.

MHMG Urology @ Southeast/Webster/League City provides high-quality care for urology patients in Southeast Houston and surrounding neighborhoods. Our staff specializes in Urologic diseases affecting the urinary tract of both males and females. We provide prevention, diagnosis and treatment for kidney stones, urinary infections and other conditions. Combining clinical expertise with advanced technology, our urologists work together to restore function of the patients' body systems.

  • Full Time
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8am - 5pm – Clinical Hours
  • Inpatient rounding
  • Limited to No Weekend coverage
  • Surgical assist training preferred, especially bladder instillations
  • ACLS &, BLS Certified

Physician Assistant

Education: Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program; Masters strongly preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Inc.
  • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners
  • Eligibility for DEA licensure
  • Basic Cardiac Life Certification or Advanced Cardiac Life Certification)

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Two (2) years clinical experience preferred in area of intended practice
  • First Assist and/or EVD experience preferred
