Position Overview
The Bakery Kitchen Staff member (Back-of-House Production) is responsible for the daily preparation, mixing, and baking of all menu items behind the scenes. This role focuses entirely on culinary execution, speed, and maintaining an organized kitchen. Working directly under the Bakery Lead, you will handle raw ingredients, operate commercial baking equipment, and ensure that fresh products are consistently ready for the retail floor and patients
Key Responsibilities
Production & Food Preparation
- Scale and measure raw ingredients (flour, sugar, yeast, etc.) accurately according to standardized recipes.
- Prepare fillings, glazes, icings, and toppings from scratch, ensuring proper taste and consistency.
- Perform high-volume, repetitive tasks uniformly, such as scooping cookie dough, shaping rolls, and panning pastries.
- Monitor baking times and oven temperatures carefully to prevent under-baking or burning.

Shift: Full-Time
Licensure: Food Handler within 180 days.
Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, catering operation, or high-volume bakery.
Certifications: None.
Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Excellent integrity Takes initiative Good moral character Effectively communicate in English, both orally and written Basic Math Skills Time Management Skills Great interpersonal skills Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Equipment Used: All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.
Preferred Education: High school diploma or its equivalent.
Preferred Certifications: Serve Safe Certification.
