Overview:

 

Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Manager is responsible for supporting strategic community engagement plans in each region/community including key/strategic sponsorship and event implementation. These plans will serve as the basis of operational focus & deployment, with a concentration on driving patient growth & retention and building Mercy's brand and reputation in the communities. This position will work closely with local operational leadership and other Office of Transformation teams to ensure coordination of work efforts and reporting. This will include managing and creating content to help execute community engagement and reputation goals. The leader will perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Mercy.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications or similar area of study required; MBA preferred
  • Experience Requirements: Demonstrated track record for success Ability to work as a part of team that is both local and virtual Health care experience preferred
  • Skill Requirements:
    • Ability to balance the needs of the region, the marketing department, and the ministry
    • Ability to work collaboratively & intra-departmentally and prioritize timely execution of strategy over unit hierarchy
    • Organized, reliable self-starter with strong creative thinking, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills
