Medical Assistant – Primary Care (Full-Time)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)

As a Primary Care Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Working closely with our providers and clinical care team, you'll help ensure every patient receives safe, timely, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for provider visits using the Advanced Standard Rooming Process:
- Document chief complaint
- Record vital signs and review medical history and allergies
- Complete medication reconciliation
- Address care gaps (e.g., screenings for fall risk, depression, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, diabetic eye exams)
- Recheck elevated blood pressures
- Document preventative visit details in Epic
- Perform in-office testing (e.g., blood draws, EKGs, mental status exams, oxygen studies, point-of-care testing)
- Administer vaccines and injections within scope of practice
- Schedule follow-up appointments per office policy
- Collaborate with providers and care team to support care plan delivery
Qualifications:
Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
Primary Care - Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
LPN Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
Licensure: Active LPN licensure
Preferred Experience: 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
