Location: Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City
Shift: Part Time (24 hours/week)
Overview:
Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Two registries working in area or Super User for select programs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
- Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor degree
- Certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area
- Skills & Knowledge: IV Insertion, technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy and 3-D knowledge
