Weekend Availability and/or Pediatric Experience
Overview:
Provides compassionate service and respects the personal dignity of patients, public and co-workers in a spirit of cooperation. Evaluates, develops and implements individual Physical Therapy programs for patients suffering from the effects of physical impairment, disability or handicap in order to a) restore, improve and maximize patient mobility and independent functioning within their physical limitations/ disabilities, b) increases strength and decrease pain, and assist patients in learning and/or regaining skills needed in the performance of activities of daily life. Develops and administers/supervises programs designed to reduce the effects of residual physical impairment, disability, and/or handicap through the uses of devices, specialized techniques, work programs and others. Provides clinical direction to PTA's.
Qualifications:
- Education: Advanced graduate degree from an accredited academic program in Physical Therapy
- Licensure: Current State of Missouri License
- Other:
- Working knowledge of exercise, electrical and manual modalities
- Ability to make decisions on multiple different modes of information
- Working knowledge of current rules and regulations
- Basic Computer Knowledge
