Mercy Hospital Southeast is actively seeking a board certified or board eligible OBGYN Hospitalist to join our team in Cape Girardeau, MO. Our Mercy Southeast OBGYN team is highly experienced with two physicians, three midwives, two advanced practitioners and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.
Position Responsibilities:
7-on 7-off model, 12-hour or 24-hour shifts!
OB/GYN physician back-up always available
Manage and evaluate patients in our OB Triage
Deliver comprehensive obstetrical care for hospitalized patients, including labor management
Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetrical procedures
Manage gynecologic patients in an inpatient setting

We deliver about 800 babies each year in our birthing hospital and features a Level III NICU.
Neonatologist comfortable caring for most babies 28 weeks and above. MFM support available 24/7.
The Dennis B. Elrod OBGYN Center has 18 private birthing suites. You can give birth and recover in the same room. 2 OR suites on labor and delivery.
Experienced and supportive partners with a dedicated women's health surgical assistant.
24-hour in-house anesthesia.
2 Di Vinci Robots.
System-wide Epic EMR.
