Overview:

The Preboarding Specialist creates a seamless and welcoming experience for new caregivers by handling pre-employment documentation and acts as a liaison between caregivers and Mercy. This role ensures that new caregivers feel valued and supported from the moment they accept their offer through their first day of work.

 

•    Preboarding Experience:
o    Primary Point of Contact: Serves as the main liaison for caregivers during the preboarding process, ensures they feel appreciated, informed, and cared for.
o    Personalized Experience: Tailors the preboarding process to each caregiver's unique circumstances, including their availability, communication preferences, and any special requests or accommodations.
o    Consistent Communication: Develops strong, trusting relationships through transparent and consistent communication, provides updates, addressing challenges, and ensures caregivers feel confident and excited about their new role.
o    Support and Collaboration: Conducts virtual and onsite appointments to assist with pre-employment tasks, and partners with other Human Resource teams and internal departments to best serve caregivers both virtually and onsite.
•    Operational Responsibilities:
o    Completion of Pre-Employment Requirements: Ensures that all necessary pre-employment tasks such as criminal and background reviews, license and certification verifications, health screenings, and I9 verifications are successfully completed.
o    Record Maintenance and Compliance: Maintains accurate records and ensures that all pre-employment requirements are met before the caregiver's start date.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Other: •    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with caregivers and internal teams at all levels.
    •    Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
    •    Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in document processing and compliance tracking.
    •    Customer service mindset with focus on delivering a welcoming, seamless experience for new caregivers and internal stakeholders.
    •    Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve preboarding issues quickly and efficiently.
