Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details:
Location: Mercy Clinic Bella Vista
Shift: Full-Time
Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri (8:30a-6:00p), Sat (7:30a-12:00p)
QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification(s): Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Experience: Caregiver has previous documented Medical Assistant experience of at least two years.
Work Environment:
Outpatient clinical setting with frequent patient interaction.
Requires standing, walking, lifting, and use of clinical equipment.
Potential exposure to infectious materials; PPE provided.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
