Overview:
This position reports to the Manager of Finance and is responsible for overseeing the production and reconciliation of financial statements and related internal and external financial reports for (entity names). The Sr. Consultant Finance will assist the department manager in the coordination of project assignments and provide technical review/assistance on projects prepared by department co-workers. The Sr. Consultant Finance will provide guidance to department co-workers and lead them in accomplishing tasks in a timely and efficient manner and will perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Position requires a minimum of five years accounting or financial analysis experience.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Preferred Licensure: CPA preferred.
Preferred Experience: Healthcare financial reporting experience. Public accounting experience, Lawson financial system experience.
