The Sterile Processing Coordinator supports Sterile Processing Leadership in directing coworkers to efficiently prioritize instruments for processing, decontamination, sterilization & high-level disinfection. Implements and maintains quality and integrity within the department by establishing quality monitors. Evaluates new instrumentation. Enforces vendor policies. Implements and maintains electronic instrument tracking system. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details:
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Certification/Registration: Must have certification as an Instrument Technician (or obtain within 18 months of hire).
Preferred Experience: Prefer previous supervisory experience.
