Department: Cardiac Telemetry
Shift: Part-Time Days | 24 hrs/week

About Our Department:

Welcome to our fast-paced 35-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit, where every day is an opportunity to make a difference!
We care for patients with STEMI, post-cardiac catheterization, CHF, arrhythmias, stroke management, and more. With a supportive nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, our PCAs play a vital role in delivering compassionate, top-quality care.

Position Overview: As a Unit Secretary in a hospital setting, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating communication and administrative operations within the unit. This position requires strong organizational skills, diligence, and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality. Your role is integral to maintaining effective communication and coordination within the healthcare team, enhancing patient care delivery and outcomes. What We're Looking For:
  • Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical office administration.

  • Experience: Prior experience using computers and computer systems to enter data, or process information. Experience in working with the public; customer service.

  • Preferred Experience: Prior clerical experience working in a healthcare setting.

  • Preferred Other: Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and HIPAA regulations preferred.
