Overview:  Oversee and provide strategic direction for Mercys Ambulatory (Retail) and Specialty pharmacy functions to meet clinical, quality, financial, regulatory and operational goals. Collaborate and coordinate the activities of Ambulatory pharmacy Directors and managers across the Ministry to develop, maintain and monitor compliance with consistent pharmacy operating procedures and practices. Collaborates with Mercy's strategic planning/growth functions to broaden geographic presence and identify growth opportunities for ambulatory pharmacy services. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, vision, values, and service standards.

 

 


Qualifications:

  • Experience:  Minimum 7 years of practice experience is required. Minimum 3 years leadership experience required.
  • Required Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher degree in pharmacy required; Masters and/or Doctor of Pharmacy degree strongly preferred.
  • Preferred Education: 
  • Certifications: Requires current pharmacist license from state(s) in which he/she practices.
  • Other: Past experiences must have demonstrated leadership ability, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to apply sound principles of management and supervision.
