What you will do
- Provides clerical support for office.
- Provides patient care to patients.
- Assists physician with assigned procedures and treatments as allowed within scope of position.
- Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Technical Degree or Diploma Limited Scope Radiology
- 1-3 years Physician office
- HEART SAVER - American Heart Association
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) National Health Career Association
- Medical Assistant (NCMA) National Center for Competency Testing
- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) National Association of Health Professionals
- Certified Medical Assistant National Phlebotomy Continuing Education
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant - The American Association of Medical Assistants
- AMT Registered Medical Assistant - American Medical Technologists
- X-Ray Op in MD Office Tennessee - Tennessee Board of X-Ray Operators
- X-Ray Op in MD Office Mississippi - Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position.
- The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
- Must have good balance and coordination.
- The physical requirements of this position are: medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
- The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
- Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact.
- Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.
- Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required), Technical Degree or Diploma: Limited Scope Radiology (Required)
