Morada Senior Living is hiring a PRN/Concierge/Dietary Aide for our community Morada Meadow Lakes.  PRN for Concierge could be 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. to Midnight or Midnight to 8:00 a.m.  PRN for Dietary Aide could be any hours between 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Will be called to cover a shift if someone is on vacation, sick, etc.

PRN POSITION SUMMARIES:

Concierge is responsible for greeting guests, residents, and employees, managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages, and providing information of a general nature.

Responsibilities for Concierge:

  • Carries out telephone answering, and reception duties as required.
  • Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient.
  • Greets residents and visitors. Answers inquiries and gives directions.
  • Collates brochures for the marketing department.
  • Prepares meal tickets for team members and family members, tallies meal count sheets for the Dining staff.
  • Updates the Resident Phone List and Roster and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily; Guest and Sign-In Logs as necessary.
  • Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized.
  • Organizes, distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators.
  • Maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits.
  • Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Dietary Aide is responsible for helping residents through the serving line, carrying of their trays to the table and cleaning of the dining room. The dietary aide is also responsible for helping with tasks in the kitchen, tabletop maintenance, as well as deliveries to residents who cannot come to the dining room.

Responsibilities for Dietary Aide:

  • Using proper food handling and food service techniques.
  • Following daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules as set by Culinary Director.
  • Carries trays and helps residents in the dining room in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Assures resident/guest is satisfied with their meals.
  • Ensures tables and surrounding area are kept in a complete state of cleanliness, appearance and readiness.
  • Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
  • Helps sets-up and clean the dining room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. 
  • Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
  • Helps with opening and closing checklist criteria.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • One to three years customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Our community is looking for a Lead Server to join our team.  

Responsible for proper dining set-up, providing meal and dining services and cleaning of the dining rooms. The Lead Server is also responsible for training new servers, maintaining proper dining room set up, assisting in special events, monitoring appropriate checklists in support of the dining area cleanliness and readiness standards and assisting in table top inventories maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists culinary director with scheduling of front-of-house team.
  • Ensures proper food handling and food service techniques by all servers.
  • Ensures and follows daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules by team.
  • In-charge of orientation and training of new servers.
  • Takes meal/drink orders and serves meals in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Assures resident/guest is satisfied with their meals.
  • Maintains knowledge of all specials and general description of all food items and explains to residents or guests.
  • Maintains assigned tables and surrounding area in a complete state of cleanliness, appearance and readiness.
  • Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
  • Sets-up and cleans the dining room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. 
  • Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
  • Performs and completes opening and closing checklist criteria.
  • Assists in dining room and surrounding areas for proper directional flow, organization and supplies placement.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in fine dining 2+.
  • Previous leadership experience in a hospitality setting.
  • Possession of a food handler's certificate.
