NASCAR Chicago Street Race is seeking highly motivated individuals to assist with our summer race season. We are seeking individuals who will work alongside the Sr. Director, Business Strategy and Director, Community Relations to execute strategies to maximize community outreach, community engagement and social responsibility for the Chicago Street Race. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Actively promote the NASCAR Chicago Street Race brand 
  • Act as a good steward in the Chicago Community and NASCAR 
  • Engage with local businesses (hotels, schools, restaurants, etc.) and residential buildings 
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries 
  • Register local businesses to participate in the Resource Guide   
  • Support Community Outreach Programs as outlined by Director 
  • Work with Director to report on community outreach programs with metrics to share with senior leadership 
  • Attend relevant events and activities to represent the company and build strong relationships with key community members 
  • Respond to inquiries from community members and other interested parties - when needed, recruit a knowledgeable spokesperson or information source to assist 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be a current City Colleges of Chicago student
  • Communicates with energy and positivity to motivate, influence, and inspire commitment and action
  • Superior follow-through with a high level of accountability
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and passion for community 
  • Strong executional capabilities 
  • Desire and ability to create and champion a vision 
  • Strong collaboration skills are critical
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite 
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation to and from the track location

The compensation range for this position is:

$16.20-$16.20
