What you will do:
The Engineering Technician II will support in determining efficient and proper procedures for kit and product assembly set-up, which includes data collection, developing work instructions, station layouts, packaging, and standards. The Engineering Technician II will work with the Manufacturing Engineer, to coordinate packaging or assembly problems or inefficiencies, recommend changes based on analysis, and facilitate implementation of new packaging and procedures. The Engineering Technician II will act as the liaison with the Sales team for new customer opportunities.
Some key responsibilities for the Engineering Technician II:
- New product development
- Develop Work Instructions and station layouts
- Develop packaging
- Develop Assembly Instructions
- Provide technical assistance to production leadership
- Input and manage Bills of Material
- Collect Data
