Pay Range: $65,266 – 106,851 annually Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle   As NFM's Network Engineer I, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house network systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by the installation, configuration and maintenance of networked systems (e.g., voice, data, wireless, etc). This position requires the candidate to reside in NE, IA, KS, MO, or TX.  Final candidates will be required to come on-site prior to receiving an offer or on their first day of employment.     Job Duties: A Day in the Life Monitor: Maximize network performance by monitoring performance and troubleshooting network problems and outages Maintain: Uphold and enhance job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations Collaborate: Meet with network architects on network optimization Ensure: Confirm network stability through Installation, setup, and configuring complex switching environments including Cisco Switches, Cisco Wireless Access Points, and Security appliances for access to vital business applications Communicate: Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that's what we love.   Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes? Bachelor's Degree in IT, related field or equivalent experience 0 – 2 years experience in network or systems administration or engineering preferred CompTIA Network + or Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) strongly desired Knowledge of current software protocols, and Internet standards, including TCP/IP, WWW, DNS, SMTP, FTP, Network, and Security Protocols, etc. Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Servers, AIX, UNIX or Linux a plus Maintains a basic understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.) Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support and Cisco Unified Communication – experience with configuration and infrastructure a plus Knowledge of installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of server hardware, end user devices and associated network equipment. Competence with testing, flowchart, and data mapping tools and procedures, including Microsoft Visio. Ability to obtain additional certifications required by management Ability to respond to needs of the customer for installation, maintenance and equipment malfunctions Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the USA on a full-time basis.
