Pay Range: $16.78 - 20.39 hourly

 

Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

As NFM's Receiving Scheduler, you are overseeing vendor-controlled shipments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and coordinating the unloading process to ensure timely receipt. Key tasks include managing paperwork for drop trailers, updating systems with accurate unload dates, maintaining team communication, and monitoring emails. The role also involves creating daily receiving schedules, supporting all receiving processes, auditing vendor compliance, and providing administrative assistance to the manager.

 

Job Duties: A Day in the Life 

  • ProduceSet shipping schedules by reviewing notices, BOLs, invoices, orders and other records to accurately set priorities to meet shipping and receiving schedules
  • CommunicateUse the daily receiving schedule and keep upper management informed
  • Support Maintain daily unload sheet and receiving schedule capacity to ensure product is arriving as expected
  • Problem solve Resolve any load or merchandise problems prior to truck arriving
  • Audit  Complete daily and weekly reviews of audits

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 2-3 years of furniture, appliance, or electronics product knowledge required
  • 1-2 years of office or administrative experience required
  • Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
  • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
