Pay Range: $20.59 - 27.40 hourly   Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle Are you a dynamic multitasker with a knack for problem-solving and collaboration? We're looking for a motivated professional proficient in POP's who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a key liaison across multiple departments, you'll work towards a common goal—delivering exceptional customer service. Strong analytical skills will be essential as you manage calendars and tackle large-scale projects. As NFM's Transportation Planning Analyst I, you will encompass the planning and execution of all shipments to and from all facilities. This is a remote position requiring the candidate to reside in NE. IA. MO, KS or TX.    Job Duties: A Day in the Life Coordinate Execute inbound, inter-store, and outbound transportation plans, tender freight to carriers and manage transportation events to ensure customer satisfaction and a smooth hand-off to regional receiving teams Set the Stage Enhance carrier utilization while maintaining company requirements for service and on time deliveries Perform Maintain, update, and provide various Calendar reports Collaborate Work directly with Operations Managers, Delivery Providers, Routers, and Warehouse managers to keep delivery dates in conformance, add additional trucks and or bays, and work unique delivery instances   Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that's what we love.   Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?  High school diploma/GED preferred 1-2 years of experience within the following activities: transportation decision making with an eye towards tuning total cost, route/ lane efficiency and performance, speed, quality; transportation planning software including load optimization, and lane decision making tools 1-2 years load planning and capacity scheduling experience preferred Ability to read/interpret maps is required Required experience with DOT regulations and operational techniques for dispatching and shipment execution Ability to analyze economics of various options based on numerical data and contractual requirements Strong planning, problem solving, coordination, time management, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to work well under pressure; provide detailed follow Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check LI-REMOTE
