Certification Details
• Required Certifications: BLS for HCP, ACLS, NRP (STABLE certification preferred), Electronic Fetal Monitoring C-EFM (Advanced Fetal Monitoring preferred)

Job Details
• 2 or more years full-time Labor and Delivery RN experience prior to/not including travel assignments
• Mother/Baby couplet care and Newborn stabilization experience preferred
• The Family Birthing Unit is comprised of 5 private labor and delivery suites, 1 triage room, 3 postpartum overflow beds & a level 1 nursery.
• The Family Birthing Unit is a low-risk OB unit but is equipped to manage high risk stabilization until transport occurs.
• Nurses care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum couplets and stabilization of neonates until appropriate transport occurs.
• North Hawaii Community Hospital is a Baby-Friendly designated hospital and offers a collaboration of Physician and Midwifery services.

Job Requirements
• Hawaii RN license required to apply NO EXCEPTIONS
• ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF CURRENT COVID-19 and INFLUENZA VACCINATION PER CURRENT CDC GUIDELINES: COVID --> booster 2023 or later; FLU --> vaccinated current season, no declinations.
