
Description
The CT Technologist II performs advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, with an emphasis on computed tomography, in accordance with established quality assurance and safety standards. This position requires strong technical expertise and clinical judgment to ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing a wide range of CT procedures and general radiographic studies.
- Ensuring accurate image acquisition, scanning, and organization of studies.
- Completing required documentation and charge capture.
- Providing clear instructions, assistance, and support to patients during examinations.
- Performing bedside and emergency radiography when needed.
- Maintaining a safe environment by inspecting and cleaning equipment, and reporting malfunctions promptly.
- Assisting with clerical and departmental support duties as required.

Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course.
Licensure:
- Current California CRT with Fluoroscopy Permit and ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT);
- OR California CRT with Fluoroscopy Permit and a minimum of 15 years of CT experience.
- Possession of a Venipuncture Permit, or documented venipuncture training completed prior to January 1, 2013;
- If training completed after January 1, 2013, must have a Venipuncture Permit with 10 venipunctures performed and verified within 1 month of hire.
- Current AHA (or equivalent) BLS Certification.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general radiology.
- At least 5 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
Skills:
- Some clerical and computer experience.
- Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in all age groups: Practices the principles of ALARA

Compensation:
- Hourly Salary Range Min $67.69 - Max $82.24 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
- 10% per diem differential included in salary range
- Plus, Generous Shift Differentials
