At NorthBay Health, the director is responsible for the administrative direction of NorthBay's twenty-four hour, seven days per week Diagnostic Imaging Departments. These modalities include: General radiography, transport, PACS, fluoroscopy, CT, and Nuclear Medicine to include mobile imaging when needed. These responsibilities include the smooth and efficient transition of patients during their care, including the efficient utilization of resources and the elimination of barriers to care delivery. This director is also responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of federal and state statutes, including but not limited to, Medicare Rules of participation, California Department of Public Health (CDPH), and Joint Commission standards governing the provision of Diagnostic Imaging Services. The director is also accountable for the direct supervision of the department-based supervisory positions to assure the provision of effective, high quality patient care through the management of radiology practices and services. This director is also responsible for the departments' financial performance which includes revenue and expense management. S/he is also responsible for maintaining current knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to the areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
Education: Baccalaureate Degree in radiology, a health care related field, or business required. Master's in health related field and Certified Radiology Administrator preferred.
Licensure/Certifications: Current License in either Radiology, Ultrasound or Nuclear Medicine.
Experience: Three to five years of experience as a Radiology, Ultrasound, or Nuclear Medicine technologist. Three to five years of demonstrated progressive management experience with increasing scope of responsibility.

Excellent interpersonal, judgment and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to deal with job-related stress, multiple projects and deadlines. Basic computer skills. This individual must be fiscally responsible, be able to take on new responsibilities as needed, be able to accept accountability and operate effectively under pressure, display confidence and integrity in all interactions, and maintain a sense of humor.

Compensation: Annual range $200K - $225K
