Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) is a 530-bed acute care hospital in East Meadow, New York. NUMC is Nassau County's premiere Level 1 Trauma Center with a state-of-the-art Burn Center and Hyperbaric Chamber. It is a tertiary care teaching hospital with a fully accredited Internal Medicine Residency Training Program. We are affiliated with the 585-bed, A. Holly Patterson Nursing Home. NUMC is seeking an ID Clinician for ID Consult Service and for our Designated AIDS Center.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding clinical and communication skills, committed to teaching and providing quality care to an underserved population. Responsibilities include Inpatient Consultations, Clinic Sessions, Quality Improvement Initiatives, and ID On-Call Service with two other ID physicians. Proficiency in Spanish is desirable. We offer a competitive salary and benefits.
Salary- $155,000 per year
