Job Details

• Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the OhioHealth Grant, 111 S Grant Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43215 to be eligible to apply
• Location: Riverside Methodist Hospital - Columbus, Ohio
• Position: ASCP certified Histotechnologist
• Shift: 5x8's Night shift (Sun-Thu 2200-0630), holidays as scheduled
• Responsibilities: Perform basic histotechnology procedures, embed 40 blocks per hour, cut at least 20 blocks per hour
• Equipment/Tools Utilized: Leica Microtomes, Peloris processors, Sakura Prisma H&E Stainer, Benchmark Special Stainers. EPIC EMR

Job Requirements
• HS Diploma/GED
• Successful completion of course requirements from an accredited school of Histotechnology, HT (ASCP) certification
• 2-3 years post High School training
• Prefer 1-2yrs of experience
• Embed 40 blocks per hour
• Cut at least 20 blocks per hour

Schedule Information
• 5x8's Night shift (Sun-Thu 2200-0630)
• Holidays as scheduled
