What you'll do:
In this role, you will learn to design, build, and maintain the systems that power the factories of the future. You should enjoy learning how things work, fixing (and breaking) things, wiring electronics, programming equipment, building structures, playing with robots, and executing at a top level.
We expect you to be a perpetual learner, motivated, well-organized, and able to quickly learn both new and existing concepts. We will turn you into the engineer that we both know you can be. Additional details about what you will be doing includes:
- Install, repair, and conduct training on robotics platforms (arms and mobile robots)
- Build cable assemblies and panels, wire systems, and assemble extrusion using standard tools of the trade
- Service and support work in-person and remotely
- Effectively manage multiple projects to completion many times overlapping
- Document all builds in a technically professional manner
- Assist Olympus personnel with miscellaneous tasks including but not limited to trade show preparation and setup, demo setup and design, demo database maintenance, customer support, project work and build lab test equipment
- Quarterly service of large customers throughout Texas (Dallas, Austin, San Antonio)

Qualifications/Experience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required
- Electrical and wiring knowledge
- Mechanical maintenance/assembly experience
- Industrial controls programming (PLC's, robotics, motion control)
- Technical writing and professional communication skills
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed, up to 25% travel
