Summary:
Perform a variety of administrative duties, which require a range of skills and knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Assist and direct visitors, and inquiries; compose, edit, and prepare a range of administrative documents and reports.
Responsibilities:
* Practice and deliver excellent internal and external customer service at all times; acting in the best interest of the department in a professional and courteous manner. a.) Record, answer incoming telephone calls and determine purpose of call, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department, ensuring professional telephone etiquette. b.) Screen correspondence; exercise judgment and respond accordingly; process incoming/out going mail. c.) Welcome visitors determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel, maintaining professional and courteous demeanor.
* Complete all accounts payable/receivable and travel duties. a.) Assist with daily reconciliation and deposit. b.) Receive and enter monthly rental payments into property management system. c.) Enter monthly payroll deduction payments into property management system. d.) Prepare and submit travel-related documents and maintain travel information as necessary.
* Prepare correspondence, reports, minutes, agendas, memos, forms, directories, resolutions, ordinances, and other documents and communications from drafts, recordings, or verbal instruction as requested. a.) Enter work orders into property management system. b.) Establish and maintain an effective filing and retrieval system. c.) Conduct research to resolve operational questions or issues as requested.
* Schedule department events and activities; manage departmental or manager's calendar. a. Attend meetings and takes minutes as requested.
* Maintain and operate office machines, equipment, and computers. Perform or coordinate general maintenance and repair. a.) Photocopy, collate, distribute, and file documents. b.) Transmit and retrieve outgoing fax, log, and distribute to appropriate personnel.

* A valid driver's license or occupational driver's license is required. Must obtain a Wisconsin driver's license or occupational driver's license within thirty (30) days of employment if applicant has an out-of-state driver's license. Must be authorized as eligible to operate a Personal and Tribal vehicle under the Oneida Nation's Vehicle Driver Certification and Fleet Management Law prior to actual start date. Must maintain driver's eligibility as a condition of employment.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
