Summary:
The Development Operations (DevOps) Supervisor will lead the strategic development, deployment, and operational support of solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure DevOps. This role is responsible for managing a team of developers and engineers, optimizing development pipelines, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of enterprise applications. The incumbent will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, low-code/no-code solutions that align with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* Align the DevOps vision and mission with the Oneida Nation's priorities and values by establishing specific and measurable operational goals.
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions using low code/no code software development tools.
* Ensure the efficient utilization of development resources across different business units of the Oneida Nation.
* Manage the lifecycle of applications, including data sourcing, migration, quality, and performance tuning.
* Review code and ensure solutions adhere to company coding, compliance, and information security standards.
* Oversee the configuration and management of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and application lifecycle management.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and business analysts to gather requirements and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
* Provide strategic technical oversight and mentorship to the development team, enforcing adherence to enterprise-grade solution architecture standards, robust code quality practices, and comprehensive documentation protocols throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Ensure seamless integration of internally developed software solutions with third-party platforms and services via RESTful APIs, maintaining interoperability, data integrity, and system performance.
* Participate as a team member on multi departmental projects.
* Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures for optimization, reliability, and incident response.
* Maintain technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and design artifacts.
* Stay current with advancements in software development, recommending new tools and methodologies to enhance development efficiency.
* Supervise, assign duties to, and coordinate the activities of staff to include evaluations, scheduling, disciplinary actions, hiring, training, orientation, approving staff time and attendance, and employee development.

* Strong understanding of cloud architecture and performance monitoring strategies.
