Salary is Negotiable

After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.


Shift Differential: 

Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) + $1.00 per hour worked 
Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am + $3.00 per hour worked 
Saturday (4am to 4pm) + $2.00 per hour worked 
Saturday (4pm to 4am) + $3.00 per hour worked 
Sunday 4am to Monday 6am + $2.00 per hour worked

Part-Time and Half-Time Employees: 

Eligible for an additional $2.00 per hour worked

Summary:

Performs a wide variety of duties that include but are not limited to performing gaming departmental revenue audits, updating procedures, ensuring gaming audit regulatory compliance, and assisting in gaming reconciliation training. 

Detailed responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service at all times to include but not limited to, addressing customer and employee needs courteously and promptly.
* Inform supervisor of recommendations/ideas for improving all areas of this position to include ideas on improving customer service systems or activities.
* Develop, maintain, and facilitate effective relationships by communicating processes and activities with all Gaming personnel and all other internal and external customers.
* Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements in all times. Adhere to established quality, service delivery, customer service, and customer demand expectations. Adhere to all audit, and legal regulations/laws and practices.
* Assist in the writing and developing departmental Policies and Procedures.
* Perform accurate and timely reconciliations of all gaming areas.
* Understand all revenue audit responsibilities including but not limited to Accounting Assistants, Slot System Specialist, and Accounting Operations Assistants job duties.
* Assist with providing employee training within all areas of revenue audit.
* Conduct month-end and year-end physical inventories.
* Provide quality services for internal and external customers by furnishing accurate information, researching, and resolving problem issues in a timely manner.
* Prepare and distribute reports to business units, management, and outside agencies as needed.
* Participate in staff meetings and cross functional teams to identify process and department improvement opportunities, evaluate alternatives and implement solutions.
* Take a proactive approach to incorporate new and revised regulatory requirements in the accounting process to ensure compliance.
* Participate in special projects to improve departmental efficiencies.

Competencies and skills:
Essential:
* Interpret federal, state, county and local laws, regulations, and requirements
* Communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing
* Exercise independent judgement
* Ability to work independently and meet strict timelines
* Knowledge or training in basic Accounting procedures
* Ability to cross train with other positions within the department and provide back-up as needed
* Preparing, reviewing, analyzing, and implementing operational and financial reports
* Skill in operating computer and various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment
* Calculator 10 key.

Education Requirement - Or A Closely Related Field:

Essential:
* Associates Degree in Accounting
* A Combination of Experience and Education May Be Considered

Credentials:
Essential:
* Driver's License Personal Vehicle
* Insurance Required
* Driver Safety Training

Credential equivalent experience:
Essential:
* Must obtain a Wisconsin driver's license or occupational driver's license within thirty (30) days of employment if applicant has an out-of-state driver's license.

Must be willing and able to obtain additional related education and training.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
